ASHRAE's Building EQ Portal provides a quick energy analysis that benchmarks a building's energy performance. Building EQ assists in the preparation of an ASHRAE Level 1 Energy Audit to identify means to improve a building's energy performance including low-cost, no-cost energy efficiency measures and an Indoor Environmental Quality survey with recorded measurements to provide additional information to assess a building's performance.
ATTENTION ASHRAE MEMBERS!!
40 % of ASHRAE members have memberships that expire on June 30. Please ensure that your membership is renewed before June 30th if you are one of the 40%. The yearly niumbers are calculated on July 1 so if your membership has lapsed for even a day it REALLY affects our regions numbers. This makes the Northern Alberta Chapter look BAD and everyone knows that we are all GOOD. Please make every effort to keep your membership up to date.

As Chapter Historian, I look forward to documenting another year of our Chapter Activities. These include our monthly meetings and special events such as the John Ross Bonspiel, Lobsterfest, Past Presidents Night, Student’s Night, Christmas Luncheon, ASHRAE Golf and this year, the ASHRAE Trade Show.
There are many different ways we as a Chapter can earn Presidential Award of Excellence (PAOE) points. Some of these include a Leadership Recall interview, which I did last year with Past President Eugene H. Bolstad, P. Eng. I look forward to another recall this season.
A huge thank you to all our 2014-15 ASHRAE Research contributors. Please see our recognition board for last years donors. The 2014-15 ASHRAE NAC Research Campaign was the most successful ever. Thanks to all your support we were able to raise $18,590. Our new chapter high was able to help Region XI reach a new all time high of $179,112.
This year we will be bringing back the monthly recognition board.
