It’s been a good year for Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) and Student Activities (SA). Student membership has increased over last year. The turnout at meetings has been great, and I look forward to seeing everyone one last time at the Craft lunch event on April 21st. The event last year turned out great with about 25 people attending, hopefully we’ll see the same numbers this year.
Our annual football event was a success again this year, with a high turnout and fun had by all. The evening was capped off with an Eskimo's win in overtime. We would like to welcome all of our newest student members as many have signed up since our visits to UofA and NAIT, once again thanks to both institutions for letting us speak to your classes.
Stay tuned as we plan our next event, looking like it could be a November lunch mixer!
The 2014 / 15 ASHRAE Research campaign is coming to a close here in a few short weeks.
Did you know that currently there are over $14 million worht of reseach being funded thru ASHRAE Research? That is a pretty big number going directly back into the research and development of our industry.
Its not too late if you are still interested in donating.

All YEA Members / Non-Members + Spouses and Significant Others;
This is your invite to the Eskimos last regular season game of the year.
The Eskimos, who are jockeying for position in the playoff race vs. the Lions, who would like nothing better than to take away 2nd place from the Esks.
Should be a good one! An opportunity to network and meet others in our industry.
Get to know people in a different light. No better way to network than taking in a football game.
