For those of you who don’t know; YEA stands for Young Engineers of ASHRAE. YEA was formed to enhance benefits for young professional ASHRAE members, 35 years old and younger, by providing activities and services focused on your needs. Getting involved with YEA is a good chance to mingle/network with others in our industry.

I would like to thank all of our 2013-2014 research donors. With your help, ASHRAE NAC was able to not only post it's best year for Research Promotion ever, but we were also able to achieve our Challenge Goal for 2013-2014. Since the 1960's ASHRAE and it's members have invested heavily into research with the intent to prepare the ASHRAE Handbook Series, formulate standards, and to train university students in preparation to enter the HVAC field. The 2013/2014 is proving to be a tough year for ASHRAE Research. Regional contributions are down from the February Goal, and almost all chapters are behind on their targets. If there is one bright light, it is ASHRAE Northern Alberta Chapter, as we are one of the few chapters that are UP over last year and EXCEEDING TARGETS.
