It's the start of another exciting year of ASHRAE events with our ASHRAE NAC Past Presidents Night.

In addition to honouring the service of our past presidents, we are also very excited to welcome current ASHRAE Northern Alberta Chapter (NAC) Chapter Technology Transfer Committee (CTTC) Chair Christina Herbers, P. Eng, LEED. Christina has many years of experience in the mechanical engineering field, mostly involving energy savings and the environment. 

Christina will discuss how Passivhaus sustainable building designs can reduce our building energy consumption and resulting environmental impacts. Her discussion will include a history of Passivhaus, case studies, design considerations and integration with ASHRAE codes.
